In the offseason, quite a bit has changed, Road America broke ground on a new retail and visitors' center inside the paddock while rebuilding the main gate and adding a new winner's circle, that is also located in the paddock. Construction is underway for all of the projects, which were designed to improve the overall fan experience while staying true to form with the traditional Road America architecture around the facility. The retail center will serve as a focal point where visitors may gather, shop and learn about Road America's history. Scheduled opening is spring of 2016 and the retail center will be open year round.
