AUSTIN, Texas (Sept. 17, 2016) – Corvette Racing met its goal Saturday of a solid points haul to maximize its championship position heading into the final race of the IMSA WeatherTech SportsCar Championship. Antonio Garcia and Jan Magnussen in the No. 3 Mobil 1/SiriusXM Chevrolet Corvette C7.R placed third in a closely fought GT Le Mans (GTLM) class in the Lone Star Le Mans race at Circuit of The Americas.

EKLHART LAKE, Wis. (Aug. 7, 2016) – Corvette Racing and Action Express Racing gave Chevrolet and the Corvette marque two victories today at Road America in the Continental Tire Road Race Showcase. Oliver Gavin and Tommy Milner won the GT Le Mans (GTLM) class in the No. 4 Mobil 1/SiriusXM Chevrolet Corvette C7.R in a thrilling finish by going from fifth to first in the final seven minutes. It was their fourth victory of the season.

Corvette Racing C7.R made this appearance Saturday, August 17, 2013 at the Rolex Monterey Motorsports Reunion in Monterey, California


The Rolex Monterey Motorsports Reunion is an annual event held at Mazda Raceway Laguna Seca in Monterey, California for one week during mid-August. Its purpose is to provide an event in which historic racecars can compete. Corvette camouflaged a 2014 Corvette C7.R race car; Tommy Milner drove the car at the Laguna Seca event that was held August 16-18, 2013.


The Corvette Racing C7.R makes its first public appearance Saturday, August 17, 2013, at the Rolex Monterey Motorsports Reunion in Monterey, California. Landmark achievement for sports car GT racing’s premier team

Congratulations to Corvette Racing on their One-two finish at Lime-Rock.  This was their 100th win, and their 60th 1-2 team finishes in Corvette Racing history.


LAKEVILLE, Conn. (July 23, 2016) – Already sporting an unmatched collection of historic moments, Corvette Racing added another today by claiming its 100th race victory by winning Saturday’s Northeast Grand Prix at Lime Rock Park. Drivers Oliver Gavin and Tommy Milner piloted their No. 4 Mobil 1/Sirius XM Chevrolet Corvette C7.R to the landmark triumph.

DETROIT (June 13, 2016) – A year ago, Corvette Racing stood on the top step of the podium after winning endurance racing’s biggest event for the eighth time. It’s now another season and another chance for Corvette Racing to claim victory at the 24 Hours of Le Mans. Doing so will write another chapter in the team’s and Chevrolet’s racing history.

DETROIT (June 3, 2016) – Chevrolet and two of its Corvette Daytona Prototype teams were the big winners Saturday as Ricky Taylor and Jordan Taylor won the Detroit Sports Car Challenge presented by Metro Detroit Chevy Dealers on Saturday at the Raceway at Belle Isle Park. The Wayne Taylor Racing pairing won in their No. 10 Konica Minolta Corvette DP on Belle Isle for the second time in three years.

DETROIT (June 1, 2016) – Chevrolet’s Corvette Daytona Prototype teams will have quite the home-field advantage once again as the International Motor Sports Association (IMSA) visits the Motor City for the annual Chevrolet Detroit Belle Isle Grand Prix weekend. The Chevrolet Sports Car Classic presented by Metro Detroit Chevy Dealers is the fifth Prototype race of the season in the IMSA WeatherTech SportsCar Championship with Chevrolet looking to add to its already stellar record in the event.

CORVETTE RACING AT LE MANS: GARCIA FASTEST DRIVER IN GTE PRO CLASS ON TEST DAY

LE MANS, France (June 5, 2016) – Corvette Racing ended the Le Mans Test Day with the fastest time in the GTE Pro class as Antonio Garcia set a lap of 3:55.122 (129.680 mph) in the No. 63 Konica Minolta/Mobil 1/Sirius XM Chevrolet Corvette C7.R. Garcia, who celebrated a birthday Sunday and will team with Jan Magnussen and Ricky Taylor, led a Corvette Racing effort that focused on race setup and strategy as the team works toward what it hopes will be a ninth victory at the French endurance classic.

THE 2016 RACE SEASON AT ROAD AMERICA IS ALMOST HERE!


ELKHART LAKE, Wis., March 30, 2016 - The 2016 race season is almost underway, and there is certainly a lot to look forward to at America's National Park of Speed! In the offseason, quite a bit has changed, Road America broke ground on a new retail and visitors' center inside the paddock while rebuilding the main gate and adding a new winner's circle, that is also located in the paddock. Construction is underway for all of the projects, which were designed to improve the overall fan experience while staying true to form with the traditional Road America architecture around the facility. The retail center will serve as a focal point where visitors may gather, shop and learn about Road America's history. Scheduled opening is spring of 2016 and the retail center will be open year round.

CORVETTE GRAND SPORT’S RACING LEGACY ON AND OFF THE TRACK

1960 – Urged by Zora Arkus-Duntov, Corvette’s first chief engineer, racer Briggs Cunningham entered three mostly stock Corvettes in the 24 Hours of Le Mans – each powered by the innovative 283 “Fuelie” mechanically fuel-injected small block V8 engine. In a race dominated by European factory teams, Cunningham’s No. 3 Corvette, driven by John Fitch and Bob Grossman, won the large-displacement GT class and finished eighth overall. In fact, the top 10 finishers included six Ferraris, two Aston Martins, a Porsche and the privateer Corvette.
