GM Announces Five Safety Recalls

The second safety recall covers 111,889 Chevrolet Corvettes from the 2005-2007 model years for potential loss of low-beam headlamp operation Models from 2008-2013 will be covered under a Customer Satisfaction Program. All repairs will be at no cost to customers.  © General Motors

As part of the relationship, Chevrolet has chosen Mobil 1™ motor oil as factory fill for the highly anticipated 2015 Corvette Z06 and the 2014 Corvette Stingray with the Z51 Performance Package.

A 2014 Corvette Stingray convertible will serve as the pace car for the inaugural Verizon IndyCar Series Grand Prix of Indianapolis Saturday, May 10 at the Indianapolis Motor Speedway. Although this weekend’s event will be the first Grand Prix of Indianapolis, it won’t be the first time a Corvette has led the field at Indianapolis Motor Speedway: A Corvette has been a pace car for the Indianapolis 500 a record 12 times, starting in 1978.
