PRLog - Jan. 28, 2015 - HOUSTON -- February 14 and 15, Chevrolet show cars will roll into Houston, Texas for the 37th Corvette/Chevy Expo. Corvette/Chevy Expo is a unique car show particularly geared to the Chevrolet enthusiasts with a swap meet with major national vendors, cars for sale, costume characters for the children, bikini contest held at the NRG Center.

The Expo features Corvettes, Camaros, Classic Chevys, and Chevy Trucks with beautiful displays. The show vehicle exhibits will include stock Chevys with matching numbers, pro-streets, modified and full customs.

DAYTONA BEACH, Fla. (Jan. 10, 2015) – Jordan Taylor set Saturday’s fastest time at Daytona International Speedway in the No. 10 Corvette DP for Wayne Taylor Racing. Taylor – driving with brother Ricky alongside Max Angelelli – posted a lap of 1:39.181 (129.218 mph) in Saturday’s first session during the second of the annual three-day test ahead of the Rolex 24 At Daytona in two weeks.

By the time Briggs Cunningham entered three Corvettes in the Le Mans 24 Hours in 1960 – Corvette’s first appearance at the world’s most demanding race – the international racing community had taken notice of America’s sports car.

DETROIT – The all-new Chevrolet Corvette Stingray and Silverado 1500 are the 2014 North American Car and Truck of the Year.   

It is the first time Chevrolet has won both awards in the same year. The Silverado was last named Truck of the Year in 2007 and the Corvette was last named Car of the Year in 1998.

Chevrolet to Introduce 2015 Corvette Z06 at Detroit Show

DETROIT – Chevrolet will introduce the 2015 Corvette Z06 next month at the North American International Auto Show in Detroit. It will be the most track-capable Corvette ever, designed to deliver supercar levels of performance through unique powertrain, chassis and aerodynamic features.

The Corvette Z06 will complete Chevrolet’s performance car lineup, which will also see the addition of the Corvette Stingray Convertible, Camaro Z/28 and SS sedan.
