GRIFFIN RADIATOR featured a custom 1958 Corvette also constructed by Heartland Customs from Purcell (OK).

GRIFFIN RADIATOR featured a custom 1958 Corvette also constructed by Heartland Customs from Purcell (OK). The folks at Heartland turn out a large number of cars for customers and, like this one, they consistently draw good crowds. This 1958 was built on a SPECVETTE chassis with fully independent and narrowed suspension, rack and pinion steering and electronic ride control. The engine is a GEN III small block with a retro engine package. This is complemented by a TREMEC TKO-600 five-speed and a Hurst short throw shifter. The car is painted in PPG Deltron base/clear Silver-Blue with Inca Silver coves. Modern HVAC function use the original gauges.

Another Corvette on display at the 2016 SEMA event was a Custom 1958 Corvette also constructed by Heartland Customs. The car is painted in PPG Deltron base/clear Silver-Blue with Inca Silver coves.

This 1958 Custom Corvette's engine is a GEN III small block with a retro engine package. This is complemented by a TREMEC TKO-600 five-speed and a Hurst short throw shifter. 

The 1958 Corvette's chrome trunk spears were unique to 1958.

In an era of chrome and four headlamps, the 1958 model year and the four that followed all had the exposed four-headlamp treatment and prominent grills.  The faux-louvered hood and chrome trunk spears were unique to 1958. 

On display at the 2016 SEMA event was a Custom 1958 Chevrolet Corvette constructed by Heartland Customs.
