This stunning 1967 Corvette convertible, Lot F102, will be offered on Friday. It has only 15,050 unrestored miles on it and is estimated to be worth $225,000 - $275,000. Exceptional original low-mileage cars such as this 1967 Chevrolet Corvette Convertible rarely come to market, but when they do, they offer the opportunity for true enthusiasts to continue preserving them for posterity. This 435 HP Tri-Power convertible was produced on May 18, 1967, and delivered new by Meyer Chevrolet in Ridgewood, New York. Its second owner purchased the car in 1981 and treasured it for more than 30 years, maintaining it so well that in 2015 it was awarded NCRS Top Flight Certification. It remains highly original throughout, retaining such important components as the jack and tools, ignition shielding, braided ignition wires, T3 headlights and perhaps most importantly, the original five Uniroyal Laredo 7.75-15 white-stripe tires. It is finished in the factory-applied Marina Blue paint with Black Stinger, bright blue interior, and white soft top, with the very rare black vinyl-covered auxiliary hardtop included.

In addition to the car’s matching-numbers 427/435 HP Tri-Power big-block V-8, it was ordered with the requisite Muncie M21 4-speed manual transmission, G81 Positraction rear end with 4.11:1 gear set, F41 Special Front, and Rear Suspension, K66 transistorized ignition, U15 speed warning indicator, power windows, power disc brakes, N11 off-road exhaust system, Soft Ray-tinted glass, clear floor mats, AM/FM radio and Rally wheels. The ’67 is documented with photos of the factory tank sticker (which is still on the tank), NCRS/GM Shipping Data Records, NCRS certificates/judging sheets, a mileage affidavit dated 1981, dealer papers, owner’s manual and owner information.

This is among the rarest of rare Corvettes, its value increasing as unrestored examples serve as guideposts for restorers, shining a light on the way these fabulous American treasures were originally built.
